Patricia Haring, 83, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Lopatcong Center in Lopatcong Township, NJ Pat was born in Easton, PA on February 17, 1935 to the late Edward William Ivey and Margaret Campbell Troxell Andrews. Pat was a homemaker for most of her life, raising 3 boys and caring for her in-laws. Later in life, she was a Cafeteria Worker at Freeman School in the Phillipsburg School District.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School. Pat enjoyed watching sports. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Teams-the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers, as well as Norte Dame Football.

Pat also enjoyed going to the casino with her friends. Church was a big part of her life. Pat was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg where she was Church Member of the Year, a member and past president of Church Council, sang in the choir, served on the Altar Guild and oversaw both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Pat is survived by her sons, Michael Haring and his wife, Lori of Easton, PA, James Haring of Pohatcong Township, NJ and Jeffrey Haring and his wife, Brenda of Easton; grandchildren, Christopher Haring, Brittany Antonelli and her husband Peter, and Justin Haring; a great-grandson, Lorenzo; and sisters, Debbie Andrews and Doris Butler, both of Bethlehem, PA. Pat was predeceased by her husband Roland Haring; step-father, Gouge Andrews; sister, Sandy Christ; and brother, Clifford Andrews. A Funeral Service for Pat will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11am at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church; 278.

Chambers. St; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A Visitation of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.

Interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township, PA. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Patricia’s name to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Patricia “Pat” Haring please visit our Sympathy Store.
