Born May 16, 1938 in Phillipsburg she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Connor) Boyle. She was an Editor with the Journal of Commerce before her retirement in 2000.

Prior to that she was a Librarian with Green Street School in Phillipsburg. Her husband, James, passed away in 2013. Sally was a 1956 graduate of Phillipsburg Parochial High School.

She loved bingo and was an avid bowler in the Ladies Mixed League at Warren Lanes. She was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg where she was also a member of the Over 50’s Club.

Sally is survived by a son Gregory J. of Hillsborough, NJ; a daughter Donna Terlinden of Clayton, NC; two brothers John Boyle of Phillipsburg and Thomas and wife, Bridget, of Melbourne, FL; a sister Sister M. Nadine Boyle of South Plainfield, NJ; two grandchildren Amee Smith (Brooks) and Travis Terlinden (Christina); and 3 great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Rebecca Ann Terlinden and Averee Smith. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a son Stephen J. Patti and a sister Elizabeth Collins. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 12 p.m. (Noon) in the funeral home.

Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to time of services in the funeral home. The family requests memorials to Phillipsburg Emergency Squad, PO Box 215, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
