Patricia Smith-Gosnell December 28, 1930 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Patricia A. Smith-Gosnell of Crawfordsville passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019. She was 88.

Patricia was a graduate of West Lebanon High School. She liked to travel, camp and loved the outdoors. Born Dec.

28, 1930 in her childhood home in Warren County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lores H. and Fannie Nehrig. She married Billy L. Smith on April 18, 1952. He passed away on March 27, 1978.

She married John F. Gosnell on May 3, 1994 at Crawfordsville. He survives. Surviving family includes: husband, John F. Gosnell of Crawfordsville; six children, Beverly K. Martin (Rodger) of Thorntown, Vicki L. Lutes of Crawfordsville, Darrell L. Smith (Tammy) of Crawfordsville, Debra S. Swearingen (Don) of Crawfordsville, Kenneth W. Smith (Kimberly) of Darlington, Roger A. Smith (Cindy) of Crawfordsville, thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy L. Smith, brother, Glenn L. Nehrig and granddaughter, Jennah Sue Smith. Graveside services will be Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery North, led by Pastor Mike Fruits.

There will not be any public viewing. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to either the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 or PhysioCare Hospice, 625 S. Earl Avenue, Suite C, Lafayette, IN 47904.
