Philip’s Obituary Philip Thomas “Butch” Galluppi, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown Township, PA. He was 78. He was the husband of Barbara J. (Oechsner) Galluppi.

The couple had celebrated their 41st Anniversary on October 7, 2018. Born in East Rockhill Township, PA, he was the son of the late Philip and Catherine Virginia (Pompei) Galluppi. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War (1961-1965), serving on the U.S.S. Wasp as an airplane mechanic.

A welder, Butch worked on the assembly line at Gasboy International, Lansdale, PA, for many years until retiring in 2000. Previously, he was employed by the FMC Corporation, Chalfont, PA, for a number of years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA.

Butch was particularly fond of working on cars, and he also enjoyed tinkering with his hands and woodworking. Surviving with his wife are eight children, Melissa Galluppi, of Gaithersburg, MD, Michael Galluppi and his wife Emily, of Quakertown, PA, Stacey Cecco and her husband Kevin, of Poolesville, MD, Christine Fenstermaker and her husband Terry, of East Greenville, PA, Robert Aponick and his wife Denise, of Perkasie, PA, Bonnie Galluppi and her partner Peggy Roeder, of Sellersville, PA, Donna Rissmiller, of Lakeland, FL, and Philip Galluppi, Jr., of Topton, PA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Galluppi and his wife Marie, of Perkasie, and Adam Galluppi and his wife Jane, of Lawrenceburg, TN; five sisters, Antoinette Sciotti, of New Oxford, PA, Phyllis Gesnecker, of Lansdale, PA, Josephine Mahoney, of Staunton, VA, Louise Mayall, of New Albany, PA, and Diane Bauer and her husband Raymond, of East Greenville, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sabatino Galluppi.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.

Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie.
