Obituary for Ralph James Coon Jr. Ralph James Coon, Jr, age 47, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 in a Welch, WV hospital following a sudden illness. He was born in Flint, Michigan and was the son of Ralph J. Coon, Sr. of Frankenmuth, Michigan and the late Elizabeth Ann Burton Coon. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School in Genesee, Michigan Class of 1990 and was a former gas well driller for Noah Horn.

Survivors, in addition to his father, are: His Wife: Nita Ann Mullins Coon Three Sons: Ryley James Coon Aidan Edward Coon Kalen Jacob Coon Sister: Carolyn Frost of Flint, Michigan Brothers: Randy Coon and Tim Coon of Michigan Father and Mother in Law: Dowell, Sr. and Esther Mullins of Cedar Bluff, Virginia Funeral services for Ralph J. Coon, Jr. will be conducted Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia. Entombment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
