Obituary for Randall “Randy” S. Caruso Randall “Randy” S. Caruso, 56, a lifelong resident of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away suddenly on October 20, 2018. Born August 20, 1962, he was the son of the late Santo Joseph and Nancy (nee Strong) Caruso. Randy was devoted to his family and community.

He served as a volunteer fireman for Protection 44 in Hastings-on-Hudson. He was also a member of the Hastings’ Southside Club, where he was the organizer of Sports Night. Randy was an avid Mets and Jets fan.

He had a keen eye for his surroundings and enjoyed photography, especially the beautiful autumn scenery. Randy will be known for his elaborate Halloween decorations and displays, always wanting to bring a smile to every passing person. Randy was a very nostalgic man always keeping things close to his heart and adored the time he spent with his family, extended family and friends.

He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. Randy is survived by his wife, Kathy Caruso, and his three daughters, Danielle, Jennifer, and Kristina Caruso, and “Charlie” Caruso. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Caruso (wife, Taresa Caruso), and sister, Dede Caruso.

Randy was predeceased by his brothers, Jeff and Chuck Caruso. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00am Thursday St. Matthew’s RC Church, Hastings-on-Hudson. Visiting 5-9pm Wednesday Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
