Richard A. Williams July 29, 1926 – January 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Richard A. Williams, 92, of E. Frederick St., Corry, Pa. , died Monday, January 14, 2019, at his home. He was born July 29, 1926 in Corry, Pa.

, a son of the late Arlo and Pauline McCauley Williams. Richard was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry High School. He entered the U. S. Army Air Corp in 1944 and served during WWII.

When he returned home, he worked with his father for Arlo Contracting. Richard then worked for Raymond Manufacturing as an engineer, retiring from there after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Corry Volunteer Fire Department and was a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in Corry.

Richard enjoyed woodworking, wine making, fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. He was very active in Corry Little League when his boys were younger and enjoyed volunteering at the Corry Museum. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his first wife Norma Newhouse Williams; a son, Steve Williams and a brother Larry Williams.

Richard is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Clayton McCaslin Williams, whom he married November 29, 1979; two daughters, Kathleen Oesch and her husband John of Spartansburg, Pa. , and Jackie Miller and her husband Tom of Florida; a son, Mike Williams and his wife Robin of Corry, Pa. ; three step-daughters, Kathy Rhodes and her husband George, Kay Wade and her husband Charles all of Corry, Pa.

, and Marsha McCaslin of Union City, Pa. ; and two step-sons, Lynn McCaslin and his wife Maureen of Cambridge Springs, Pa. , and Scott McCaslin and his wife Brenda of North East, Pa.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa. , on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service there at noon.

Rev. Dan McEldowney will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
