Obituary for Robert Andrew Peters Robert Andrew Peters, 73, of Hurricane went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018 at home. Born May 23, 1945 in Charleston, he is proud to be a part of a four generation railroad family. Bob retired from Amtrak after 47 years of loyal service on the railroad.

His true love is his family and his joy are his grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Imogene Eskew Peters. Surviving are his wife, Mitzi Ann Peters; son, Chuck R. Peters (Melissa); step-son, Scott Roberts (Kelli), Bryan Roberts (Sarah); brother, Darrell Peters (Joyce); sisters, Linda Phelps (Herbert), Donna Lacy (Denny); eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with Pastor Craig Gillenwater officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
