Obituary for Barbara Ann Miller Barbara Ann (Arthur) Miller 76 of Bancroft WV entered this life September 17, 1941 and departed this world July 22, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Paul R (Buddy) Miller, parents; Herman H. Sr. and Bessie O. Arthur, brothers; Hershel Arthur, James Arthur, and Foster Arthur, and sisters; Christine (Arthur) Persinger and Helena (Arthur) Nelson. Barbara retired from Putnam Country Board of Education where she was a custodian at Rock Branch Elementary.

She also worked at Stone & Thomas Warehouse in Rock Branch and Fletchers in Nitro. Barbara is survived by her son Paul David Miller of Winfield, daughter Paula Ovilee Miller-Peoples of Barboursville WV, loving grandson; Charles W. (Chase) Peoples IV, girlfriend and beloved granddaughter Baylee J. Perry, the light of her life, great grandson; Lennon Avery Perry-Peoples; and multiple nieces and nephews that she loved with all her heart. Love and special thanks to James “Rocky” Nelson (nephew) for always taking your time, love and concern with “Oopie” you held a special place in her heart and mine.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield with Pastor James (Speedy) Arthur officiating. There will be no gathering after the service. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department 721 Central Ave Barboursville WV 25504.
