Obituary for Clara Mae Parker It is with great sadness that the family of Clara “Mae” Parker announces her passing after a long term illness on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the age of 62. Heaven opened its gates to an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt and sister as she went to be with loved ones and leave the fight she’s been fighting so hard. Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Parker Sr.; parents, Alvie and Jean Adkins; brothers, Alvin, Charlie and David Adkins; sister, Janet McCallister.

Mae will be lovingly remember by her children, Michelle Hill (Scott) of Nitro; son, Roger Parker, Jr. of Poca; her loving grandchildren, Michael Hill of Ohio, Destany Hill of Nitro, Skyler Parker of Poca; sister, Barbara Roach of St. Albans; nieces, Brittany Elkins, Lacie Adkins of South Charleston who was there until the last day showing her love. Also many other nieces and nephews who loved and cared very much for her. The family would like to thank the Hubbard Hospice House West, for making her final days peaceful and being there to support the family at this time.

Also a big thank you to “Tiny” for always being there and doing all you have done, it will never be forgotten and we are truly grateful. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with the Pastor Mark Thaxton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 to 12:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
