Obituary for Ronald A. Kelemen Ronald A. Kelemen, 68, of Charleston passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. He was born in Charleston to the late Alex and Evelyn Griffith Kelemen. Ron was a volunteer and advised with “Thanks!

Since 2010, when the Rosie the Riveter Park was unveiled. He was a Vietnam veteran (Hospital Corpsman) who helps “Thanks! Include veterans in “Rosie work”.

He holds a B.A. degree from Marshall University and a M. A. degree from San Diego State University, both in sociology. He worked for the state of West Virginia in protection of the elderly, children and disadvantaged adults. His interests include American modern history and world history.

He was a graduate from Marsh Fork High School. Surviving are his sister, Judith Lynch and brother, Bob Kelemen (Linda) all of Winston-Salem, NC. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews; Mike, Bill, Tim, Jon, Lori, Steve, Matthews and David; great nephews and nieces, Morgan, Ava, Julie, Jessica, Andrew, Elek, Ryan and Alexis; great great nephews, Hunter and Beau.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 1, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans.
