Obituary for Doris Jean Griffith Doris Jean Griffith, 89, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House – West, South Charleston. She was born in Tango to the late Reemelin Oat and Emmer Lena Paul Williams. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Basil “Ray” Griffith and sister, Anna Hope Nida Bauknecht.

Doris was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Albans and the Good News Sunday School Class. She was retired from Harvey Shreve Ford Dealership, St. Albans. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry Ray and Shari Griffith; grandchildren, Daniel Ray Griffith (Courtney) and Emily Marie Griffith; great grandson, Silas Ray Griffith.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 16, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with the Rev. Joel M. Harpold officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to, First Baptist Church of St. Albans, In Memory of Doris Jean Griffith, 523 Second Street, St. Albans, WV 25177.
