Obituary for John Thomas “Tom” Kasey John Thomas “Tom” Kasey, 86 of South Charleston, passed away July 19, 2018 at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane. Tom was born June 23, 1932 in Fieldale, VA, to the late Belvie and Alice Kasey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lucille Kasey and daughter, Mary Beth Ashley.

Tom retired from Silverstein and Maddox Insurance. He was a member of First Baptist Church South Charleston. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Julie James (John) of Nitro, Pat Kasey of South Charleston, and Anthony Kasey (Lee Ann) of St. Albans; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018, at First Baptist Church of South Charleston, at 515 “D” Street, South Charleston WV 25303, with Pastor Jody Pistore officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the church.
