Obituary of Roger Elf Roger S. Elf, 81, of Busti, formally of Falconer passed away Saturday (July 7, 2018) in UPMC/ Chautauqua/WCA Hospital. He was born August 9, 1936 in Jamestown the son of the late Carl H. and Lucile D. Peterson Elf. Roger was a graduate of Falconer High School and served his country in the Army National Guard.

Prior to retirement he was employed by the Chautauqua County Highway Department. Roger loved hunting, and fishing on Chautauqua Lake, mowing lawns. He was a past member of the Falconer Fire Department, the Vikings Lodge, and Lakewood Rod & Gun.

Roger loved his grandchildren the most and his friends that he enjoyed coffee with at Wegmans every day. He is survived by his wife Beverly A. Smith Elf of Busti, whom he married September 14, 1957 in Falconer; two sons: Curtis (Robin) Elf of Sugar Grove, PA, Michael Elf of Busti, NY; a daughter, Rhonda (Joel) Graham of Lakewood, NY; six grandchildren: Christopher Elf, Brandon Elf, Brook Elf, Paul Graham, Michael Tyler Elf, Sara Graham; four great grandchildren: Aubery Elf, Aiyiana Graham, Kailiah Graham, Lydia Elf. Visitation will not be observed.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be donated to the Humane Society- Chautauqua County 2825 Strunk Rd. , Jamestown, NY 14701.
