Obituary for Ronald Edward Harris Ronald Edward Harris, 76, of Hurricane passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Born January 13, 1942 in Barboursville, he was a son of the late Edward Azel and Helen Marjorie Kiff Harris. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lee Harris.

Ronnie retired from Weyerhauser of Ohio with 40 years of service. He was Baptist by faith and had attended Crossroads Community Chapel. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and listen to gospel music.

Surviving are his wife, Robin; his sons, Terry Harris (Missy) of Christiansburg, VA, Randy Harris of Hurricane; his daughter, Tammy Holtzapfel (Rich) of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Kaity and Kelsea Harris of Christiansburg, WV, Drew (Kayla) Holtzapfel of Huntington and Erik (Chloe) Holtzapfel of Fraziers Bottom; great-grandchildren, Alice, Levi and Ryker; his sister, Becky Smith (Butch) of Huntington. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, June 22, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Rev. Greg Creasy officiating.

Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. You may also visit Ronnie’s tribute page at ChapmanFuneralHomes.com to share memories with the family.
