Obituary for Ronald Harold “Blue” Nelson Ronald Harold “Blue” Nelson, 80, of St. Albans passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Bloomingrose to the late Harold and Reba Nelson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Nelson; daughter, Sheryl Nelson; sister, Flo Smith (Ron).

Ronald was a member and trustee of Bethany Baptist Church, St. Albans and was a retired millwright for Union Carbide Corp. , Institute Plant. He is survived by his wife, Kay Warren Nelson; daughter, Cindy Howell of Whitesville; step-son, Shannon Morris (Michelle) of Winfield.

Ronnie will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Allen (Nichole) Howell, Shelli (Mark) Rinchich, Hallie and Hunter Morris; great grandchildren, Braden, Maddie, Seth and Kenzi. Always loved and missed by sisters, Karen (Bill) Pardue, Judy Mullins, Connie (Sam) Hammel and brother, Reggie (Connie) Nelson. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church, 2504 Grant Ave. , St. Albans with Pastor Raymond Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. , W., Charleston, WV 25312 or The Gideons International, P. O. Box 731, St. Albans, WV 25177.
