Obituary for Rose Hoover Rose Ellen Penick Hoover, 68, of 916 Halifax Rd, Danville, VA died on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her residence after being in declining health for the past two years. Mrs. Hoover was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 23, 1950, daughter of the late James Ralph Penick and the late Helen Marie Wade Penick. She spent most of her life in the Danville area where she retired from Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Center as a unit helper.

She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. On April 17, 1969 she married, William Henry Hoover, Jr., who survives of the residence. Additional survivors include her loving son, Kevin James Hoover and his fiancé, Angela Brizendine of Danville, VA; granddaughter, Meagen Elizabeth Hoover; sisters, Jenny Coy, Penny Carden, Michelle Lewis and Jamie Walker.

She was predeceased by a brother Tommy Morgan. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Reverend Lawrence Morris officiating. Interment will follow the service in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and at other time will be at the residence of her sister-in-law, Cathy Hunt, 153 Natalie Ln, Danville, VA 24540.
