Ruby’s Obituary Ruby Kay Hassler, 75 of Harrisonburg passed away January 10, 2019 in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Hassler was born February 7, 1943 in Rockingham County, and was the daughter of the late Ernest B. and Edna Pence Frank. Ruby loved to read, enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, working puzzles, going to yard sales and loved wearing her rings.

She was a shift manager at Neighbors on Route 42, for many years. Her husband, Calvin Ray Hassler, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Wendie Hassler, Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Ashley Hassler, Dakota Hassler, Gabriel Hassler; her Dog, “Laney”; brothers, Pete Frank & wife, Betty, Gary Frank, all of Singers Glen, Charles Frank & wife, Wanda, Bridgewater; sisters, Roxie Fulk, Virginia “Sissy” Stroop & husband, Ralph, Singers Glen and Carolyn Terry & husband, Tony, Timberville.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Louise Ritchie, Leonard Frank, Reba Shipp, Ernest Frank, Catherine McDorman. The family will celebrate her life privately.
