Ruth Ann’s Obituary Ruth Ann Stanislaw, of the Elmwood Terrace, Lansdale, and formerly of East Rockhill Twp. , PA, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Jefferson Health Hospice, Warminster, PA. She was 69.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Lillian R. (LeGore) Stanislaw. A 1969 graduate of Abington High School, Abington, PA, she attained her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree from the Career Academy, Washington, DC, in 1970. She also attended a school of ministry in Bradenton, FL.

Ruth Ann worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Grand View Hospital Upper Bucks Nursing Service, Sellersville, PA, and later for Upjohn Home Health Care, Doylestown, PA. Most recently, she spent 13 years employed as a school bus driver for the Pennridge School District, Perkasie, PA, until retiring in 2002. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Perkasie, Perkasie, PA, where she was a Church Prayer Warrior and volunteered with its card ministry.

A member of the Upper Bucks Busy Bees Association, Ruth Ann particularly enjoyed knitting, crafting, baking and cooking. She also was an avid collector of “Shirley Temple” and “Dutch” dolls. She is survived by three brothers, David A. Stanislaw and his wife Kay, of East Rockhill Twp.

, PA, James E. Stanislaw, of Greenville, SC, and John P. Stanislaw and his wife Dawn, of East Rockhill Twp. ; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Interment will be held privately in the Springfield Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Springfield Twp. , PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Perkasie, 1600 N. Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944.
