Obituary of Ruth Ann Danico Ruth Ann Danico, 76, of Bay City, our compassionate, loving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on June 29, 2018. Ruth was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Floyd and Naomi (Ewald) Whitson. On July 2, 1961, Ruth was united in marriage to her loving husband, Frederick Danico.

Throughout life, Ruth was known for her love of quilting and sewing, but most of all, she was known for her unwavering love of her family. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Fred and their two children: Katherine (Bill) Zollars and Bethany (Gerry) Andino. She was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; her in-laws, Alnathan (Lois) Danico, Richard Boyer, and Pat Gebhart, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was welcomed home to heaven by her son, John Danico; brothers, Kenneth and Joseph Whitson, and in-laws, Peggy Boyer, Nanette Largent, and Dean Danico. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski’s. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family, c/o Katherine Zollars.
