Obituary for Shaela Marie Crain Shaela Marie Crain, 25, of Herrin, passed away at 1:10 p.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Herrin Hospital with her family by her side. Shaela was born November 18, 1992 in Carbondale to Calinda Triplett. Shaela was a gift from God and she loved everyone she met.

She enjoyed listening to her leep frog music; playing with her Barney. She was an honorary member of Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA). She is survived by her mother and step-father, Calinda Triplett and Billy Joe Leeper-Burnett of Herrin; sister, Brandi (Kye Jones) Crain of Herrin; step-sister Khrystynna Tolbert; niece, Kaylynn Jones; two nephews, Kyeler and Leighton Jones; grandmother, Barbara Darter; uncle, Kevin Versetto; two aunts, Kelly (Joe) Black and Kim Gibbs.

The family would like to thank Heather Lucus from Advantage Nursing and all of her hospitalist and nurses at Herrin Hospital ICU. She was preceded in death by her Poppy, William Darter and her grandma Katheryn Crain. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Pyle Funeral Home with Br.

John Michael Connell officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements.
