She was the 6th of 8 children. On November 5, 1940, she married Clarence W. Rinne. They made their home near Arrow Rock, Mo.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Arrow Rock and later joined the Arrow Rock Federated Church when Zion United Church closed. She was a homemaker and had three children (Donald Wayne, Carol Jean and Dale William). She raised her niece, Mary Louise Rinne Stith, who came to live with Clarence and Sue at age 3.

She was a loving wife, dear mother and the many children she helped raised at Hardeman School have always considered her as one more Grandma.

Her cooking skills were enjoyed by many, and she could whip up a full course dinner for extras without blinking an eye. She was an independent person who liked to mow her own grass. She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and could watch any sport and keep up with everything that was happening.

Stith; sisters, Verna Cunningham, Earlene Davis, Ella Widel, Ruby Lee Kammeyer, Peachie Irene Bagby; and brothers, Earl Isaac and Bud Junior Griffith.
