Syble Timmons Langton, 95, wife of the late B. K. Langston, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Kingstree Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service.

Mrs. Langston was born on March 8, 1923 in Timmonsville, daughter of the late John Morgan Timmons and Fannie Sims Timmons. She was a graduate of Sardis High School and retired from Wentworth Manufacturing. Mrs. Langston was a member of Lake City First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are her daughters, Elizabeth L. (Johnnie) Anderson of Cades, Alice L. (Lloyd) Ackerman of Lake City and Claire Langston of Florence; grandchildren, Jody Anderson, Pam Anderson, Jennifer Hanna, Joye Fowler, Christy Bishop and Greg Ackerman; ten great grandchildren; and sister, Rebecca Alexander of Timmonsville. Memorials may be made to Lake City First Baptist Church, PO Box 820, Lake City, SC, 29560.
