Obituary for Thomas W. Parker Thomas W. Parker, 80, of Fair Haven, formerly of Glenham, NY, entered into rest on March 8, 2018 at his home in Fair Haven, VT. Thomas was born on April 19, 1937 in Beacon, NY the son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Post) Parker. On February 27, 1965 he married the former Nancy Miller.

They resided in Glenham, NY until 2004 when they moved to Fair Haven, VT. Mrs. Parker survives at home. Thomas is also survived by his children Michelle Spola and her husband Richard of Fishkill, NY, his son Daniel T. Parker and his partner Janet Rigdon of North Attleboro, MA, his sister Anne Anderson and Sister-in-law Vilma “Skip” Parker both of Beacon, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Thomas was predeceased by his siblings Barbara Laffin, Mildred “Betty” VanTassell, Florence “Sis” Bloomer, John Parker and his brothers-in-law Robert Laffin, Eugene VanTassell, Leonard Bloomer, and Earl Anderson. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Thomas to the Slater Chemical Fire Company, Model T Fund, P. O. Box 391 Glenham, NY 12527 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
