Thomas Edmond. Louden , 82, of Parkersburg passed away September 1, 2018 at The Willows Nursing & Rehabilitation. Tom was born on November 30, 1935 in Richwood, WV, one of four sons of the late John W. and Eloise Serrani Louden.

Tom was a salesman at heart. He had worked for Horner and Harrison and for several local car dealers. Most of his career was spent with Mullen Motors where he was the recipient of several sales awards.

Tom had a God given talent for singing and used that talent for local weddings, funerals and other events. He had been a member of several local gospel groups and was proud to have recorded a solo album. Tom was a member of Beechwood Presbyterian Church since 1970 and had served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher and song leader.

Tom is survived by son Mark Louden of Newark, OH, granddaughter Marissa, brother Harold “Chuck” Louden (Jean), several nieces and nephews and special friend Sharon Smith. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers Richard “Dick” Louden (Patty) and John W. “Jim” Louden, Jr. (“Mil”). Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Rick Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 on Tuesday and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Evergreen North Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Willows, especially Nora for the care given Tom and his family during his stay there.
