CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Venia Evelyn Day, 87, died Saturday March 16, 2019 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Carterton, Virginia; daughter of the late James Franklin and Georgia Harrison Rynes. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Grizzle and her third husband, Lewis B. Day, son-in-law, Farrial Hileman and eight brothers.

She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and retired from the garment factory where she was a machine operator. She is survived by daughter, Anna Grizzle Hileman of Castlewood, Virginia; granddaughter, Rhonda Moore and husband, Jeff of Castlewood, Virginia; three grandsons, Ronnie F. Hileman Jr. and wife, Paula of Castlewood, Virginia, Robbie Hileman and wife, Amanda of Castlewood, Virginia and Ryan Hileman and wife, Courtney of Castlewood, Virginia; ten great grandchildren, Emma, Collin, Darryl, Dalton, Cayden, Chasity, Chase, Cheria, Chasity and Caleb; eleven great-great grandchildren, Easton, Cayden, Aubry, Branson, Katyln, Madison, Layla, Abel, Austin, Logan and Hudson; two special friends, Linda Gray and Faye Woods; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Venia Evelyn Day will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Dennis Scarberry, Rev. Larry Powers officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Collin Moore, Darryl Hileman, Chase Mays, Ryan Hileman, Derrick White and Wayne Duncan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
