Virgil M. Hileman, age 96, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 . He was a member of Robertson Creek Church . He was a member of Kyle Lodge and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Virgil retired after 32 years of service with TVA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his Wife of 52 years, Mabel Hileman, Wife of 15 years, Linda Hileman, Parents, Silas T. Hileman and Ethel M. Hileman, Brothers, Prentiss and Calvin Hileman, Sister, Virgie McGinnis and Grandson, Michael Hileman.

Virgil is survived by his loving Children ; Daughter, Sandra Turner ( Sid), Steve Hileman ( Jane), Stan Hileman ( Melanie),and Sanford Hileman ( Debbie), Brother, Dale Hileman, Grandchildren, Kevin Hileman , Mandy Hileman, Jessica Beal ( Nick), Zak Hileman, Tricia Nguyen ( Tuan), Patrick Turner ( Lanie), Misty Elkins ( Eddie), and Bruce Trent , Great Grandchildren, Cory Hileman, Aris Hileman, Tori Ward, Tayben Whitson, Deacon Turner, Cade Turner, Turner Nguyen and Abigail Trent and several nieces and nephews. The Family would like to give a special thank you to Mary Royston, Sue Watts and Dawn Myers, and care givers from Amedysis and the VA. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at Christian- Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville .

The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Scott Farmer and Rev. Eddie Elkins officiating.

The Military graveside will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 Noon at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Patrick Turner, Zak Hileman, Eddie Elkins, Kevin Hileman, Nick Beal, Tuan Nguyen, Bruce Trent and Cory Hileman Online condolences may be sent at www. christiansells.com/.
