Virginia R. Angelcyk, 93, of Kewanee, died at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Toulon Health Care Center. She was born on April 6, 1925 in Downers Grove, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Berniece (Molek) Wastart. She graduated from Downers High School and graduated with the Class of “42”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and four brothers: Joseph, Alexander, Thomas, and Aloysius Wastart. Virginia worked as an accountant in Chicago for the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. She retired from the Kewanee Post Office after 25 plus years of employment.

Virginia enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and various kinds of puzzles. Private Graveside Services will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery. Monsignor Jerry Rafalko will officiate.

There will be no visitation. Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
