Obituary for Virginia Rhodes Widener Virginia Louise Rhodes Widener, 76, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Stanleytown Health and Rehab. She was born December 18, 1941, in Mattoon, Illinois, to the late Clifford and Josephine Rhodes. She enjoyed bowling and was an active member of Calvary Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Rotenberry, and Lori Lankford. Ms. Widener is survived by her grandchildren, Abbigail Rotenberry, Andrew Rotenberry, Justin Rotenberry, and Taylor Clark. The services will be private.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, and Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 1090 Fisher Farm Road, Martinsville, Virginia, 24112. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
