Obituary for W. Leo Petree W. Leo Petree 24 June 1942 – 30 Dec 2018 W. Leo Petree was born June 24, 1942, in Gorman TX. He passed from this life at Hospice of Texarkana in Texarkana TX. He was 77 years old.

W. Leo Petree is preceded in death by his parents Oscar Earnest and Mary Ellen Petree; brothers John Layton Petree, Charles Petree, Doc Petree, Roger Petree, and Baby Petree who passed as an infant; sister Juanita Jackson; son Carl Leo Petree; and daughter Juanita Delores Bernal. He is survived by daughters Lorie Petree of Bloomburg TX and Tina Barker and husband Russell of Plant City FL; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. W. Leo Petree was an outdoorsman.

He loved to fish and spend time with his beloved family. He was a hard worker and enjoyed traveling, freely roaming around from place to place. W. Leo’s services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held in his honor, Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 5-7 PM at Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City TX. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Beech Creek Cemetery in Atlanta TX. Interment will follow immediately.
