Obituary of William Gaide Mr. William Anthony Gaide of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home. He was 54. He was born June 7, 1963 in Oyster Bay, NY the son of the Francis and the late Mary Anne Royce Gaide.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1990 until 2000. He worked as a Food Quality Specialist for the US Army in Fort Dix, NJ. William was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Goshen Chapter.

He also volunteered for the Lackawaxen Fire Department and was a Scout Master in Panama. A family statement read: William loved many things including his service to our country, his service dog Carmela, cooking, the Mets and his Jets. He had a love of History, John Wayne and the Minion movies.

He loved all of our children. Most of all he loved his wife Stephanie for being his A.L.S. Supporter and his advocate, care giver and best friend. Surviving are: His loving wife of 32 years Stephanie Gaide at home 2 Daughters: Theresa Clune and her husband Jesse of Port Jervis, NY Mary Gaide and her fiancé Steve Scolamiero of Bristol, Rhode Island Stepson: Stephen Angiulo of Port Jervis, NY His father Francis Gaide and his wife Janice Ann of Tarpon Springs, FL 1 Brother: Frank Gaide and his wife Susan 5 Sisters: Valerie Frasier and her husband Bob Linda Leuchner and her husband Paul Jeanette Hamlet and her husband Charles Rita Pope and her husband James Janice Ann Gaide-O’Loughlin and husband Philip 1 granddaughter: Audrey Royce Clune Also many nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his son, William; Brother, Wayne; and sisters-in-law Mary & Elma.

Also by his mother, Mary Anne Gaide. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 with 10am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev.
