Obituary for Albert David Goff Albert David Goff, 86, of Huntington, formerly of Winfield, Hurricane and Hartford, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home. Born June 7, 1932 in Fraziers Bottom, he was a son of the late Lawrence Warner and Velma Frances Gillispie Goff and a brother, Kenneth Goff. Albert was a 1951 graduate of Winfield High School and was retired from Union Carbide.
He was Baptist by faith and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Hurricane. He was a Mason and served his country with the United States Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Irene Thornton Goff; daughter, Rebecca Hutson (Lucius) of Waxhaw, NC; sons, Douglas Goff (Stephanie) of Hurricane, James Goff (Teresa) of Beaumont, TX; sisters, Loretta Clark (John) of Knoxville, TN, Mary Sue Krueger (James) of Corbin, TN, Carrie Beattie (Paul) of Covington, GA; brothers, Herman Goff (Gudrun) of Ladson, SC, Vernon Goff (Ann) of Looneyville, WV; grandchildren, Abby Huston (Cody Weasenforth), Caleb Huston (Leslie), Molly Hutson, Justin Ball, Whittney, Alexis and Burke Daigle; great grandchildren, Edith Hutson, Emma Mounce, Rheid Havarty.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Rev. Tony Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
