Ann Pryor Watson December 12, 1941 – January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ann Pryor Watson, 77, of Perryville, died January 17, 2019 at her residence in Perryville, MO. She was born December 12, 1941in Carbondale, IL, daughter of Glenn Louie and Eva Violet (Akers) Cecil. She first married Larry Pryor on September 3, 1960.

He preceded her in death on August 5, 1993. She then married Homer Watson on February 14, 1994. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2005.

Ann had recently retired from the Women’s Crisis Center in Perryville where she assisted women and children in need. She was a Certified Medical Technician at Perry Oaks Manor. She was member of First Baptist Church in Perryville, a court advocate for abused children and former chairperson of Democratic Party of Perry County.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Survivors include one daughter, Vicki Wilson of Perryville, one brother, Louie (Judy) Cecil of Carbondale, IL, two sisters, Jennie (Ray) Crawshaw of Elkville, IL and Rachel Moore of Murphysboro, IL and two grandchildren, Jalen Pryor and Kelsey Hartman and one great-grandson, Chance. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one son, Andrew Pryor and one granddaughter, Faith A. Wilson, two sisters, Pauline Kolhmeyer and Ludine Chamness, two brothers, Charles and James Cecil, one granddaughter, Faith A. Wilson.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of Service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ben Chapman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Crown Hospice or for funeral expenses. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
