She was born July 11, 1934 in Cape Girardeau, MO daughter of John S. and Hazel E. (Gosnell) Kimbel. She and Norman G. Roth were married on July 24, 1954.

He preceded her in death on November 7, 2007. Evelyn was a Certified Nurses Aid and private care giver after retirement. She loved to crochet and was blessed with a beautiful voice.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Daniel (Sandy) Roth of Farrar, Paul (Carla) Roth of Frohna and Nancy (Matthew) Puchbauer of Jackson, one daughter-in-law, Mary Roth, eight grandchildren, Greg (Valerie) Bohnert, Kyle (Daphne) Bohnert, Lauren (Wes) Buchheit, Clay (Kristy) Roth, Kiarra, Austin, Caleb Roth, Andrew Puchbauer; four great-grandchildren, Laine, Owen Bohnert, Ethan Bohnert, Clayton Copeland and one great-great-grandchild, Raelyn Copeland. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Karen Hicks and one sister, Shirley Davis.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, February 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday, February 11 from 6:30 to 8:00 am. She will then be taken to Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown for funeral service at 10:00 am with Rev. Paul Winningham officiating.

Burial in the church cemetery. Memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, MO. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
