Comte, 83, of Perryville, died February 19, 2019 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, MO. She was born August 26, 1935 in Perryville, MO, daughter of Howard and Hilda (Cissell) Franklin. Helen worked at Built Best Windows for 35 years and she was an aid at Independence Care Center.

She loved playing Bingo and collecting Precious Moments. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include six sons and two daughters, John (Karen) Comte of House Springs, Michael (Mary) Comte of Perryville, Steven (Tena) Comte of Jacksonville, TX, Connie (Lawrence) Schumer, Mark (Bonnie) Comte, Kevin (Julie) Comte, Robert (special friend, Heather Hawthorne) Comte and Tina Comte all of Perryville, two brothers, Howard Donald (Shirley) Franklin of Florissant and Clyde (Mary) Franklin of St. Charles, twenty seven grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter, Kimberly Comte, one sister, Virginia Smith and one great granddaughter, Phiona Cooper. Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, February 22 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 6:30 – 9:30 am. She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 am with Rev.

Rich Wehrmeyer CM officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
