Annamae Custer Shirley, 90, Indiana, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. The daughter of Jacob and Cecelia (Johnson) Schweiger, she was born May 31, 1928 in Little Renton, PA. Mrs. Shirley attended the CMA church of Clymer.

She had many interests which included going to yard sales and auctions, watching wrestling on TV, listening to live music and sitting on her porch watching the deer. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are her children, Virginia Ferrier, Mary (Yoder) Cummings, Harry (Melissa) Custer, David Schweiger, and Diane; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Shirley in death were her parents; first husband Homer Custer and second husband, James Shirley; sons, John and Richard; grandson, Jody; brothers, Jacob, William, Carl, Paul and Jessie; sisters, Lydia, Margaret, Roma, Catherine, and Hazel; daughter-in-law, Carrie Custer; and son-in-law, Joe Ferrier. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12 to 2 and 5 to 7 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev.

Sam Keefer, officiating. Interment in the Ruffner Cemetery will be private.
