Obituary for Anne Joyce Jeffries Anne Joyce Jeffries, 86, of Soddy Daisy, TN, formerly of Spencer, VA, died on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson, TN. She was born in Henry County to the late William W Joyce Sr. and Lucy Kellam Joyce on January 14, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Ray Jeffries Sr. and daughter Regina Ann Preston.

Anne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved NASCAR, traveling and her jewelry. She was a member of Friendly Christian Church and was retired from DuPont with 35 years of service. She is survived by her son, Albert “Sonny” Jeffries, and his wife Dawn of Soddy Daisy, TN; brother, William W. Joyce Jr of Spencer; three grandchildren, Tammy Sellers, and husband Kyle of Richmond, VA, Lee Ann Martin of Greensboro, NC, and Josh Jeffries of Bassett, VA; and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at Friendly Christian Church, 735 Friendly Church Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
