Obituary of Arlyn Hausner Arlyn Meredith Hausner, 70, formerly of Baltimore and a long-time resident of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born on March 13, 1948 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Vernon Deitz and Sally Leatherbury Deitz. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, William “Bill” H. Hausner; and her beloved son, David M. Hausner & his wife, Jolanda of Parkton, MD.

She was the very proud grandmother of Ava Meredith Hausner and Travis David Hausner; loving sister to Sallie Deitz-Flagg of Stuben, ME, Ridgely Deitz & his wife, Mary of Marion Station, MD, and Patti Harrison & her husband, Larry of Westover, MD. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Margie Weakly. Arlyn worked in the real estate business all of her life, and was most proud of her 20 year career with Long and Foster, retiring as Eastern Shore Regional Administrator.

She was an animal lover and dog owner. She cherished her time with her husband and son, and his family, and most especially with her two grandchildren. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with Rev.

Howard Travers officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Road, Salisbury, MD 21804 and or the American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
