Obituary of Joan McDonald Joan C. McDonald, 81 years of age, passed away on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at Aurora Senior Living in Princess Anne, MD. Joan was born April 14, 1937 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late John and Corinna Grasser.

Joan married Jack McDonald on January 9th, 1969 in Baltimore, MD and shared 48 wonderful years together. They moved their family to Hebron, MD in 1974 and “Old Mc Donald’s Farm” was born. Jack and Joan dedicated their lives to raising horses, miniature horses, dogs, cats, goats, their children and any stray animal that was lucky enough to come onto their farm.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Gray, son Dana McDonald and step-son Michael McDonald. Grandchildren Natalie Bailey, Lindsay Savage, Daniel and Samantha Gray, Cameron, Colin and Caiden McDonald, Brandi and Avalon McDonald and one great grandson, Eugene Mullins IV. After Joan retired from Arthur F North, DDS, an oral surgeon, in Salisbury, MD, Joan and Jack moved to Ocala, Fl and shared 17 precious retirement years together.

Joan and Jack moved back to Hebron, Md in November 2016 and resided with their daughter and son-in-law. Joan will be cremated; her ashes will be interred with her husband’s Jack. They will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, Fl.

Celebration of Life Services will be held in Ocala, Fl at a date to be announced. Contributions may be sent to your local Animal Shelter. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway’s Funeral Home, PA.
