Obituary for Audrey Worley Audrey Haga Worley, age 90, of Bristol Virginia went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born in Washington County Virginia and raised her family in the Bristol Virginia community. She was a member of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol Virginia.
She retired this past March from Dominion Carton Corporation with 51 years of service and was a member of the National Secretary Association. She was a loved mother, grandmother and aunt. Her life reflected her love for her Lord, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Webster Worley, Jr; her parents, Christopher Columbus and Mary Catherine Haga; brothers Garland, Delmar and Vernon Haga and sister, Ella Mae Pairgin. She is survived by son, Daryl C. Worley and wife Lori and their two sons Nathan Christopher and Joshua Jackson; son, Kevin W. Worley and wife Donna and their son Christopher Ryan; son, Brian D. Worley and wife Neecy and several nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends at Euclid Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, January 5th from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm.
Service will begin at 2:00 pm. In keeping with her wishes Pastor Bill Thompson, of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church, will be officiating with special song selections from members of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church Celebration Choir. The committal service and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be David Frazier, David Campbell, Ken Lovins, George Young, Darold Worley and Jim Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Cook, Bill Haga, the Employees and Friends of Dominion Carton Corporation, her CVA and Family Physicians. The family is extremely grateful to our friends, church family and loved ones for prayers, love and support.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff of the Bristol Regional Medical Center, the Hospice House Staff and her attending Hospice Nurses for their kindness and loving attention. You have truly been attending angels. In lieu of flowers her wishes would be for donations be made to the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 900 Euclid Ave.
