Obituary for Barbara A. McCauley Barbara A. McCauley, 76, of Bristol, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord, Monday, December 31, 2018 in the Life Care Center of Gray Tennessee following an extended illness. She was born in Bristol, TN on March 12, 1942, a daughter of the late Trula Catherine Green Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Finley McCauley; son, Christopher McCauley; four brothers, Morris, Steve, Eugene and Bill Arnold.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Sperry/Unisys until it closed, then worked as a Teacher’s aide for Bristol TN City schools until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She attended Edgemont Presbyterian Church. Barbara is survived by her one daughter, Jill Arnold and husband, Chad; three granddaughters, Kellie Brown and husband, B.J., Jenni Koch and husband, Austin and Sarah McCauley; two grandsons, Sam Arnold and Ryan McCauley; one great grandson on the way, Everett Brown; two sisters, Sharon Hagy and husband, Bobby and Mary Carlson and husband, Bob; one daughter-in-law, Christine McCauley; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Life Care Center of Gray TN and to Amedysis Hospice for all the love and care shown to Barbara during her illness.

Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, TN. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Thursday. Condolences for the family may be sent and viewed by visiting www.
