Kodric-Nordskog 76 of Marinette passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at University Hospital in Madison, following a long illness. She was born on November 22, 1942, in Menominee to the late Lawrence and Mary (Costagan) Boivin. She had worked for KUS for 25 years, retiring in 2002.

On December 27, 2001, Barbara married Stanley Nodskog in Roskford, IL. She enjoyed camping with Stan, walking, biking, gardening, and playing cards, especially pinochle. Barbara is survived by her husband, Stanley; children: Tarie (Doug) Gennrich of Franklin, Tim (Deanna) Kodric of Peshtigo, Cheryl (Doug) Woelz of Freedom, and Tony (Becky) Kodric of Peshtigo; step daughter, Marnie (Shelli) Nordskog of Appleton; 11 grandchildren: Josh (Mary) Lequia of Oak Creek, Jenna (Travis Hinz) Lequia of Yorktown Heights, NY, Nathan Gennrich of Franklin, Mike (Natalie) Kodric of Peshtigo, Matthew (Courtney) Kodric of Fond du Lac, Katie (Andrew) Vierya of Switzerland, Tayler (Tanner) Maulick of Appleton, Krista (Josh) Staudenmaier of Lena, Cory (Tara) Dietrich of Menominee, Carly Dietrich of Peshtigo, and Samantha Kodric of Peshtigo; eight great grandchildren: Brayden, Logan, Layne, Jasen, Jackson, Haylee, Ella, and Cora; siblings: Fred (Lori) Boivin of Marinette, Lorraine (Richard) Orlando of Neenah, Kathleen (Jerry) McCabe of Appleton, Francis (Diana) Boivin of Menominee, Robert (Lydia) Boivin of Marinette, and Diane (Jeff) Walters of Appleton; nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; additionally many friends.

Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish – Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Friday, January 25th from 9:30am until time of service. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am with Rev. Celestine Byekwaso officiating.

Inurnment will be in Forest Home Mausoleum. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family. The family would like to thank UW Heath for all of the compassionate care given.

The value of life is best measured by the moments spent giving of one’s self, inspiring hope, wiping tears, and touching hearts with love.
