Barbara Jean Beard March 31, 1953 – May 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Barbara Morton Beard, 66, of 5416 Beardall Street, Raleigh, NC, passed away, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. Born March 31, 1953 in Chatham, VA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Richard Morton and Amey Jennings Morton. Survivors include three daughters, Tiffany Maye (Kenny) of Raleigh, NC, Sherika Chandler of Dry Fork, VA and Deon Chandler of Danville, VA; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Roslyn Preston (Lenwood) of Danville, VA; one brother, Larry Morton of Mebane, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Dora Mae Morton. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Beard family.
