Obituary for Ms. Barbara June Cantrell Barbara June Cantrell, 82, of 3020 Keowee School Road, Seneca, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Pruitt Health- Pickens. A native of Seneca, SC, Ms. Cantrell was the daughter of the late Charlie James and Mimzie Anna Abercrombie Cantrell. She was retried from the Clemson University Fertilizer and Seed Certification Services.

Ms. Cantrell was a faithful member of Fairview Community Church, where she served as a pianist, organist, Sunday school teacher, church treasurer and various other activities of the church. Ms. Cantrell is survived by her sisters: Edna Parker of Seneca and Faye Allen of Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cantrell was preceded in death by her brothers: Earle, Ralph, Ray, Lester and Bruce Cantrell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Community Church, 332 Ebenezer Road, West Union, SC 29696 or to the Oconee Humane Society, PO Box 966, West Union, SC 29696.
