Obituary for Ms. Della Ball Della Ball, 89, of 1103 Briarwood Drive, Seneca, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018, at her home. A native of Oconee County, SC, Ms. Ball was the daughter of the late Alex and Laura Mable Barnes Ball. She retired from the textile industry having worked at Cotton Blossom, Walhalla Garment Company and Capers.

Ms. Ball enjoyed traveling with her friends and was a member of Turning Point Church of God. Ms. Ball is survived by her sisters: Mattie Marie Massey and Gladys Grogan (Dean) both of Westminster. In addition to her parents, Ms. Ball was preceded in death by a brother: Lawrence Edward Ball and his wife Ruth; sisters: Lois Collins and husband Otto, Leila Mayfield and husband Loye, Edna Dickson and husband Vernon, Helen Simpson and husband Paul and Mary Jennings and husband Sloan; and brother-in-law: Clyde Massey.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Turning Point Church of God, 298 C Ritter Road, Walhalla, SC 29691.
