Obituary for Mr. Basil Aldine Bibb Basil Aldine Bibb, 84, husband of the late Sandra Young Bibb, of 120 Riley Street, Westminster, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018. A native of Westminster, Mr. Bibb was the son of the late Frank L. and Eva Goforth Bibb. Before retirement, he worked for Westminster Ice and Fuel, the Westminster Police Department and was a SC State Constable.

He was an avid sports fan and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bibb is survived by his son: Mike Bibb (Alison) of Westminster; brothers: Frank Bibb and Derrill Bibb of Westminster; sisters: Frances Bibb and Marilyn Bibb of Westminster; a grandson: Shannon Young (Melissa) of Westminster; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Bibb was preceded in death by a son: Karey Young; and two sisters: Hazel Smith and Helen King.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery in Walhalla. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Tuesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted.
