Obituary for Mrs. Leota Sloan McCall Leota Sloan McCall, 92, wife of Huber McCall. Sr., of 102 McCall Circle, Seneca, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Seneca Health Care and Rehab. Born in Salem, SC, on December 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Fred Sloan and Cleona Moody Sloan.

She was a homemaker and a member of Snow Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Delores Beavers, Wilma L. White, Jane M. White and Renee McCall all of Seneca, and Mychele McCall of NC; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister: Bernice S. Grant. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her sons: Gordon Ray McCall, Jerry Allen McCall, Huber (J.R.) McCall, Jr. and H. Robert White; brothers: Grady Sloan and Fred Sloan; and sister: Myrtle Lee Pearson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1–2:00 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home. The family wishes to express their appreciation to a family friend and long-time caregiver, Casey Galloway.

Mrs. McCall’s family also conveys their appreciation to the Unit A staff of Seneca Health Care and Rehab and the staff of Keowee Family Medicine, for their many years of dedication and devotion to Mrs. McCall’s care. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Snow Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 Snow Creek Church Road, Seneca, SC 29678. The family is at the home.
