Obituary for Mr. Hilliard Caston Barnett Hilliard Caston Barnett, 92, husband of the late Katherine McCall Barnett, of 127 Fernwood Drive, West Union, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at his home. A native of De Funiak Springs, FL, Mr. Barnett was the son of the late Thomas Mason Barnett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, participating in the Pacific Theatre in WWII.

He later was a pipefitter and a member of the West Michigan Plumbers and Service Traders Local Union #154 and #174. Mr. Barnett is survived by his sons: Robert C. Barnett (Laurel) of Muskegon, MI, Thomas M. Barnett (Christine) of the home and Donald Johnson of the home; daughters: Elizabeth Dianne Barnett of the home and Deborah Lynn Barnett of Millbrook, AL; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his brothers: Joseph Yaun and Denvil Yaun.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of the flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672. The family is at the home.
