Obituary for Mrs. Martha Graham Pettit Martha Graham Pettit, wife of John Leland Pettit, of Walhalla, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Pettit was the daughter of the late Julius J. and Sue Ella Moore Graham. She retired from Valenite and was a member of College Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pettit is survived by her son: Bill Mathis (Laura) of Seneca, SC; daughters: Sherry Kuemmerer (Joey) of Walhalla, SC, Melanie Hauser of Mountain Rest, SC, Sharon Newell of Anderson, SC, Lita Justus (Roger) of West Union, SC and Rhonda Tippett (Brian) of Walhalla, SC; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her family, she loved her pets Chloe and Nineball. Mrs. Pettit was preceded in death by her brothers: Bradley, Ray and Larry Graham; and son-in-law: Jimmy Hauser.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Oconee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Animal Rescue Fund of SC, 10445 Clemson Blvd. , Seneca, SC 29678.
