Obituary for Mr. King David Stubblefield King David Stubblefield, 86, husband of the late Sue Hamby Stubblefield, of 838 Robinhood Drive, Walhalla, passed away, Thursday, July 19, 2018, GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mr. Stubblefield was the son of the late King David Stubblefield and Myrtle Lee McCollum Stubblefield. He was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard and later retired from Torrington.

Mr. Stubblefield was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. Mr. Stubblefield is survived by his sons: Brian Stubblefield of Greer, SC and Keith Stubblefield of Mountain Rest, SC; four grandchildren: Lori Roueche, Mikayla Hendrix, Kennedy Hendrix and Ryan Grace Stubblefield; and great-grandson: John Robert Roueche. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Stubblefield was preceded in death by his brothers: Clarence, Ernest, John, and Charles Stubblefield.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Flowers are accepted.
